Lloyds Bank has appointed Andy Schaeffer to head its North America business, effective February 1.
Schaeffer replaces Mark Grant who will return to London as a base for his previously announced role as Chief Executive designate of the Group’s Non-Ring-Fenced Bank alongside his overarching responsibilities for Lloyds Bank’s operations in Asia, Europe and North America.
Schaeffer joined Lloyds Bank North America in July 2014 to lead and develop the Financial Markets team. He was subsequently promoted to Head of Markets North America in April 2015, when he transformed the Capital Markets and Financial Markets teams into one operation. Schaeffer has a 25 year banking pedigree, having previously worked at Natixis Securities, Credit Agricole and a number of US and international banks.

Schaeffer reports into Grant and his appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
