Looking back across those 250 years, we can see agricultural, industrial, social and technological changes taking place, many of which Lloyds Bank has been part of. In recognition of our anniversary programme, we commissioned Ruth Goodman, the acclaimed social historian, to write a history of the economic and societal changes that have taken place. In doing so, she has drawn widely on information from historical archives, including our own.
