Manasa graduated from NYU Stern School of Business in 2014. While at NYU, she studied abroad for one year in London, UK and for one semester in Shanghai, China. Through these experiences she came to understand that she enjoys challenging and different situations and wanted her first role after graduation to provide the same exciting opportunities to learn and grow.
Why Manasa chose the Analyst Program
The main attraction of the Lloyds Bank Analyst Program for Manasa was its rotational structure, which enables working and learning in three different business areas across coverage and product. In addition to helping her build a well-rounded foundation for her career, the rotational program facilitates working with people across various groups to help build diverse professional relationships.
Manasa commenced the Analyst Program in July 2014. She has rotated through the Consumer & Services, Industrials & TMT and Trade Finance teams. For Manasa, these rotations have been an important component for her to learn more about corporate banking, while working in an organization that is as invested in her career as she is.
Manasa also highlights the fact that Lloyds Bank is committed to the communities in which it operates and encourages its employees to engage in volunteer events.
“I am a member of the Responsible Business Partnership, which helps coordinate events such as the Annual Golf Charity Fundraiser and Cycle for Survival, an indoor cycling event held to raise money for cancer research. I helped organize the inaugural Analyst Volunteer Day, a day where the Analysts assisted in renovating a local high school through mural painting,” Manasa said.
